Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they
shall name him “Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.” (Mt 1:23)
Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. (Mk
1:3)
To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who
is the Messiah, the Lord. (Lk 2:11)
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have
seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace
and truth. (Jn 1:14)
Yes, the Saviour is born to be with us unto the end of the age.
Let us receive Him into our lives and pay homage to Him. Let the Word become
flesh and dwell in our hearts. Let us be filled with joy on seeing the Lord.
